Christmas is the time for giving and receiving gifts, and the Premier League is handing out a real treat this weekend in the shape of Manchester City hosting Arsenal, which we football fans will all too gladly gobble up.

At FootballFanCast we’re so excited that we’ve made this match our last Fixture in Focus before Xmas Day, and you can check out some more great articles surrounding the bout HERE.

The game itself is sure to be a fascinating one, with two teams determined to play football in their own unique, yet quite similar way. We’re sure to see passing from the back, fluid attacking play and a real battle to control possession in midfield.

With the two squads full of talent, we thought we’d put a tricky question to Arsenal fans: which Man City player would YOU want to join the ranks at the Emirates Stadium?

We asked this earlier in the week and the results are now in… There are some notable exclusions, too!

5 – Ilkay Gundogan

A recent addition to the Man City squad, it seems Arsenal fans have been keeping an eye on Gundogan for a while. The silky Germany international has been a real star for his national side and was a key player at Dortmund. He's already shown glimpses of his quality in the sky blue of Pep Guardiola’s team.

We can see how he would have fitted into this Arsenal side, with his technical ability well-suited to Wenger's philosophy.

4 – Leroy Sane

Another recent Man City addition, it seems Sane has been picked on his potential rather than his overall performances in England. The Germany international is still a young man at the age of 20, and has, as you would expect, been inconsistent since his move to the Etihad Stadium.

He does, however, look like he could be a player that will steadily improve over the coming seasons.

3 – Kelechi Iheanacho

Even though Alexis Sanchez is scoring for fun for Arsenal right now, Gunners fans would love to see Nigerian ace Iheanacho in the red and white shirt. The youngster has been a breath of fresh air when called upon by Guardiola - and indeed Manuel Pellegrini last term - with his energy and fearlessness having helped him to a return of eleven Premier League goals already.

2 – Kevin De Bruyne

One of the Premier League’s real stars, De Bruyne’s form has dipped a little of late, but Arsenal fans still love the Belgian. The ex-Chelsea ace is making his former employers’ decision to sell him so early in his career look sillier and sillier as the years progress, and we think an Arsenal XI with him and Mesut Ozil in would be a fearsome prospect for any defence in the world.

1 – Sergio Aguero

Imagine Aguero and Sanchez working in tandem up front. Well, it seems that Arsenal fans have been dreaming of just that, with the Argentine top of the pile. Fortunately for Wenger’s Gunners, the forward will miss thus weekend’s games due to his suspension for a horrific challenge on Chelsea’s David Luiz.
