New Arsenal manager Unai Emery will have a tough task on his hands taking over from Arsene Wenger after the Frenchman effectively ran the club for 22 years.

In order to make the squad his own, Emery will no doubt be looking to make signings this summer alongside letting some players leave The Emirates. The 46-year-old Spaniard has already added Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno and experienced right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner to his side.

With Arsenal fans hoping The Gunners can break back into the top four after two seasons out, we asked them in our poll who they want the club to sign during this window. Check out the three players they picked out here...

3. Nabil Fekir

Lyon's Nabil Fekir salutes supporters

After choosing a shirt number and conducting an interview with LFC TV, it looked certain that Liverpool would sign Fekir from Lyon this summer. However, the deal fell through at the last minute after what the Daily Star are reporting as Jurgen Klopp's concerns over a three-year long knee injury.

That hasn't seemed to put the Arsenal fans off though, the man who scored 23 goals in all competitions for Lyon last season was the third most popular player for the Gunners to sign among those who answered our poll.

2. Kalidou Koulibaly

The 6ft5 Napoli centre-back is one of the most coveted players in European football right now, with rumours linking him with top clubs seemingly popping up by the hour.

Perhaps the perfect showcase of Koulibaly's ability was his performance for Senegal in their opening World Cup group game against Poland. The 27-year-old kept Robert Lewandowski quiet and displayed the range of passing that has seen Transfermarkt value him at €60m.

1. Jean Michael Seri

If there's one position that most Arsenal fans would agree they need to improve it would be central midfield. With Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla leaving the club this summer and Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny failing to convince, the answer to all The Gunners' problems could be Jean Michael Seri. The pint-sized Ivorian is a playmaker by trade but has the ability to win the ball back before distributing himself.

Although with The Daily Express reporting that Seri has a release clause of just £35m that expires on the 15th July, Arsenal and Emery should move quickly to bolster their midfield.
