Rival fans pray Louis van Gaal succeeds Wenger at Arsenal

When Louis van Gaal was Manchester United manager, he certainly entertained the Premier League.

Although, most of that entertainment came from the Dutchman’s press conferences rather than the football United displayed on the pitch.

Van Gaal failed to guide the Red Devils back to the glory days during his two-year spell in charge at Old Trafford, but he did secure the FA Cup a matter of weeks before he was sacked.

Since leaving the North-West outfit, the 66-year-old has been vocal in his criticism, but recently he suggested on Dutch TV that he could be taking up another job soon.

Manchester United editor of the Manchester Evening News, Samuel Luckhurst cheekily hoped that the club Van Gaal was referring to was Arsenal, and rival fans agreed.

Despite plenty of jokes being at Van Gaal’s expense over the last few years, the Dutchman has had a very successful career in management having won league titles at every club he has coached bar United.

During his time in the game, Van Gaal has managed Ajax, Barcelona, AZ, Bayern Munich and the Netherlands national team.
