Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they want the Gunners to sign Allan Saint-Maximin, after the Newcastle winger gave them something to worry about despite being on the receiving end of a 4-0 scoreline.

While the north Londoners were quite obviously the superior side, Saint-Maximin - who arrived at St James' Park from OGC Nice back in the summer for £16.5m - hit the post in the second half and gave Hector Bellerin a torrid time down the left flank.

Newcastle's No.10 embarked on six successful dribbles, and also made three key passes - the next most creative Newcastle player only made one, while Arsenal's highest creators in that department were Nicolas Pepe and Mesut Ozil with four key passes to their names.

The French forward also had two shots and was fouled on three occasions, while also showcasing his industrial side with two interceptions under his belt.

Having quite clearly been left impressed with his display at the Emirates, these Arsenal fans on Twitter want to see the winger sign for the club...

To kick off the reaction, 'Gunners.com' said that the 22-year-old is the "most fun player to watch" in England's top-flight, and said that they would take him at the Emirates "in a heartbeat" - David then echoed that sentiment by also saying he'd take Saint-Maximin "in a heartbeat".

Elsewhere, 'IslingtonGoonerAFC' said that, if they were Raul Sanllehi, they would sign the attacker for Arsenal "today".

Then, @AFCMahad said they would "love to have" Saint-Maximin at the club, saying that it would be a "joy to watch" him alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Pepe.

Lastly, Frizz said they'd "definitely take" the Magpies star on Arsenal's left-wing for next term.
