Ryan Fraser has revealed his delight at being linked with Arsenal, per Sky Sports.
The AFC Bournemouth winger has enjoyed a productive season this term and is reportedly being targeted by Unai Emery.
Fraser has enjoyed something of a coming out party this season, scoring seven goals and laying on 11 assists in all competitions for the Cherries.
The Daily Mirror report that Arsenal boss Emery has added the 25-year-old to his summer transfer shortlist as he looks to reshape his squad ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Scouts, the report claims, have issued glowing reports on the Scotland international, who has won seven caps, and a summer move is now a possibility.
And Fraser, speaking to Sky Sports, admits that he is honoured by the links.
He said: “I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice. It means you are doing something right.
“They are a huge club, a massive club. When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.
“I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.”
Emery has no excuse not to complete the signing of the Scot now.
Fraser is clearly open to the prospect of a move to the Emirates and has exactly the sort of profile the Gunners should be targeting.
Still young enough to improve, but old enough to have a genuine Premier League pedigree, Fraser, who cost Bournemouth just £432k in 2013, would be a relatively inexpensive summer signing and he would add depth and skill to the left flank.
As summer approaches, Fraser may well become the first of many additions at the Emirates, particularly if the Gunners manage to continue their current form and finish in the top four.
