SIX managerial alternatives to Wenger at Arsenal

Impending doom is looming over Arsene Wenger. No one doubts the Frenchman’s abilities or desire to succeed, but under his leadership, Arsenal haven’t claimed the Premier League title for a decade and are amid an eight-year trophy drought.

Now, following a surprise 3-0 defeat to the hands of Everton yesterday afternoon, Le Prof faces the prospect of losing his last remaining credible feat at the Emirates – preserving the club’s Champions League status year upon year.

With Wenger’s Gunners contract coming to an end this summer and a new deal yet to be announced, despite several announcements of an announcement being in the pipeline, rumours have been circulating for a while that either the 18-year Arsenal manager, the Emirates board or both will decide to end his tenure this summer.
