With some Arsenal fans holding onto hope that Lukas Fabianski would change his mind and opt to stay in north London, the Polish international has finally departed for Swansea, signing a four-year deal with the club.
It now means Arsene Wenger has an additional area in need of addressing this summer, with Damian Martinez the only option behind Wojciech Szczesny. Going with the young Argentine would be an extremely poor decision by the manager considering the options he had this past season.
But Arsenal have the funds to properly strengthen that position this summer, and they’ll certainly need to if they’re to build on their FA Cup win.
