Cristian Pavon's Argentina are out of the World Cup and while the 22-year-old didn't exactly have the tournament he would have liked in Russia, his performances have caught the eye of some Arsenal supporters this summer.

Pavon featured in all four of Argentina's matches at the World Cup and started their 4-3 knock-out round defeat to France on Saturday, but failed to score or assist in any of his appearances.

The Gunners have been linked with a £27m move for the player in recent days, as reported by talkSPORT, who currently plays his football in his homeland for Boca Juniors.

At domestic level he has impressed, scoring 6 goals and creating 11 assists in his last 26 Primera Division matches.

With Arsenal looking for pace and trickery on the wing ahead of next season, the prospect is a viable choice, with the potential to improve massively given his relatively young age.

These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on a potential switch to the Emirates after his recent World Cup performances...
