Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey netted his ninth league goal of the season in his side’s 3-0 victory at Hull City on Sunday. It was the Welshman’s first effort since a lengthy injury lay off and football fans on Twitter have speculated that the midfielder’s goalscoring curse has evolved and claimed another victim.
Earlier in his Arsenal career, Ramsey’s strikes “coincided” with the high profile deaths such as Osama Bin Laden, Steve Jobs and Whitney Houston. Having discovered a rich vein of goalscoring form earlier in the current campaign, many believed that the the curse had been lifted.
But football fans on Twitter couldn’t help but notice another “coincidence” following his effort at the weekend.

David Moyes’ days at Manchester United seemed numbered but it was only after a Ramsey goal that the decision was finally taken. Now that football fans know that the curse has now evolved into managerial sackings, many disgruntled supporters will be praying that it strikes at their club next.
