Many Arsenal supporters would love to sign Ever Banega after watching him in action for Argentina at the World Cup this weekend.
Banega was part of the side that suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat to France on Saturday in a World Cup knockout stage classic.
In a back and forth match, France’s quality eventually shone through but Bangea stood out as one of his team’s top performers, creating his second assist of the tournament.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to the Gunners in recent weeks, with The Sun reporting that he could be set for a reunion with boss Unai Emery after working with him at Valencia and Sevilla.
A tenacious midfield all-round, plenty of fans feel he could be exactly what they need in the middle of the park this summer to compete towards the top end of the English Premier League next season.
These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on a potential switch after watching him this weekend…
