At long last Arsenal are about to enter a season without the guidance of Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners had long looked to be in decline under Arsene Wenger, and a change was  needed to rejuvenate the club. Now Unai Emery is the man tasked with making Arsenal a true force in English football once again.

Whilst the new Emirates Stadium manager has already brought in a host of new players to the north London outfit, there is still time remaining for the Spaniard to bring more players through the door. He has brought in the experience of Stephan Lichsteirner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, as well as the creative talent of Lucas Torreira, but perhaps one more star name in the squad would reaffirm Arsenal as a real force in English football once again.

With that in mind, here are three players Arsenal could still sign before Deadline Day....

Jean-Phillipe Gbamin has attracted interest from the Gunners after being in good form for Mainz last season, according to the Mirror.

He is a strong, pacey player who makes it hard for opposing teams to find space in behind. He also has the ability to play out from the back, which is necessary in a modern defender.

The 22-year-old is valued at £13.5million by Transfermarkt.

If Unai Emery decides he needs to bolster his defence, this deal could well be over the line before Deadline Day.

Arsenal want Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona, and could use Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal for the player, according to The Sun.

With just one-year remaining on his contract, and the Gunners likely not wanting to lose him on a free, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Aaron Ramsey could be used as a bargaining chip in a swap deal for Dembele.

The explosive French attacker could form a lethal trio alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. After not impressing to the level you might expect for a player who cost Barcelona over €100m, this deal is a possibility.

Steven N'Zonzi is a name that will be familiar to Premier League fans from his time with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City.

He has been a crucial member of the Sevilla side for the last few years. As reported by the Metro, Arsenal are still keen to sign the defensive midfielder before the end of the transfer window.

An imposing and athletic player, the France international would be a good fit at Arsenal. He would provide cover for the defence, break up play and use his ability on the ball to get Arsenal on the front foot.
