Few will have been brave enough to back Sunderland against Arsenal this weekend and those who did will already be wondering why they thought something so ludicrous.
Alexis Sanchez has given the Gunners the lead early on at the Stadium of Light with a guided header from a pin point Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain cross. At this point, things are going to plan for Arsene Wenger’s side and they could – quite frankly – be out of sight by the time the Black Cats have awoken.
His role as the centrepiece of Arsenal’s fluid attacking football is crucial to the way the team plays and his current form is bringing the best out of all the players around him.
Arsenal’s fans are pretty damn pleased with the former Udinese forward, that’s for sure.
Alexis on it today. Already created 2 very good chances and scored a goal

Alexis has been so damn good, that even Piers Morgan is temporarily not whining about Wenger.

As great as he’s been, maybe we shouldn’t get carried away. He clearly isn’t quite up to the standards of Mr Vardy yet, is he?
Still wondering why Alexis Sanchez was not included on the ballon d'or list. Lol.

Alexis looks like he's in the mood…..ok he does 99% of the time….but he looks real hungry… Probably the early goal he's got

Could be the goal, could be that he forget to have his weetabix?
