Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports of Aaron Ramsey’s proposed move to Bayern Munich on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to the Independent, with some fans up in arms over the club’s decision making whereas some are happy to see the back of the Welshman.
The former Cardiff City star and his agent hit an impasse with the Gunners during negotiations for a renewal of his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
That impasse was never resolved, resulting in the 27-year-old being allowed to talk to clubs in regards to a summer transfer move.
Since arriving in north London in a £5m deal back in 2008, the Wales international has made 343 appearances for the club, scoring 59 goals, although the general feeling is that injuries hampered him from fulfilling his huge potential.
Let’s take a look at some of the various tweets from some angry, some glad, and some reflective Arsenal supporters…
Good luck @aaronramsey! We all know that you became a gooner and we all appreciate and respect what you’ve done for Arsenal all these years! Your 2 winning FA Cup final goals will be remembered for a long long time, especially the one vs Hull that ended the 9y trophy drought!

Bayern Munich, one of the biggest clubs in world football, is after Aaron Ramsey yet we can't stump up £200K p/w? Shame on us, when are we going to stop our best players leaving?
Although I suppose at least Bayern aren't direct rivals anymore, we've got Vorskla to worry about ?

Imagine signing Aaron Ramsey, he hasn’t played a 38 game League season once.
The last two seasons he’s managed 23 and 24 games in the league. Bum player.

Aaron Ramsey to Bayern. What a move for him. Not surprised though, he's one of the best box to box players to ever grace the game. Going to tear the Bundesliga apart.
