Arsenal have been dealt another blow as they aim to make up ground in the title race with the news Aaron Ramsey may not play again this season, according to Football Insider.
The Welshman suffered a thigh injury during the Gunners’ FA Cup 4th round win over Hull City and was hoped to be returning after the international break.
However, national team boss Chris Coleman has hinted the 25-year old could miss out at club level, though it will not spell an end to his chances of featuring at Euro 2016.
‘I am hoping he is going to get a couple of games in with Arsenal but who knows?’, revealed Coleman ahead of Wales’ game with Ukraine.
‘It could be one of things that is prolonged and he doesn’t make recovery everyone expects.’
‘But if there’s half a chance he is going to start tournament then he is coming.’
Feedback from the Emirates camp is understood to suggest there is little doubt the all-action midfielder will make it to this summer’s showpiece in France.
Along with teammate Gareth Bale, Ramsey is considered to be one of his country’s biggest threats as they prepare for their first major tournament for 57 years.
