Wenger looks to sign Argentine on a Bosman, Arsenal to show caution over Hazard deal – Best of AFC

Arsenal has got their season back on track with a comfortable victory at the Emirates this afternoon. It was a vital win for Arsene Wenger’s side and it keeps the Gunners in the hunt for a top four finish as they close the gap on their West London rivals in 4th.

A Champions League finish is the main priority for Arsene Wenger who suggested this week that he has perhaps become a victim of his own success and consistencies, given the amount of criticisms he and his Arsenal side have been on the end of this season. The Frenchman is confident that the Gunners will make the top four, although he has suggested that if they fail he may look to review his transfer policy at the club.

This week at FFC we have seen a mixed bag of articles that include why Arsenal fans should be confident over RVP; who represents the best move for Eden Hazard, while it is the not knowing that eats at Gunners fans.

“The competition is very interesting and I am confident that we will come back into a strong position. The fact that we have never been in this position is rather a credit to me in 16 years so I do not take that as a blame.” Wenger talking to the Independent about the battle for a top four finish.
