Aston Villa became a Twitter laughing stock after they failed to register a single goal for the entire month of October, even having to cancel their goal of the month awards due to the fact that nobody was able to score.
Despite a strong start to the new Premier League campaign, Paul Lambert has now led his side to six consecutive defeats, failing to score in five of those matches between September 13 all the way to November 2, when Andreas Weimann ended his side’s dry patch.
Normally a striker will go through a goal-drought, but with the entire squad failing to net in five consecutive matches, here are just some of the many Twitter post in regards to their terrible run of form.
