Aston Villa have given an update on the team news ahead of Saturday's Championship match away to Fulham at Craven Cottage, and the fans are not best pleased.

Albert Adomah and Jack Grealish have emerged as injury doubts and both will be assessed by medical staff before the day is out.

Both players have been in positive form of late, particularly Adomah, who has put in man-of-the-match displays in recent wins over Burton Albion and Birmingham City.

In his last two outings, the attacking midfielder has scored twice and produced an assist.

As for Grealish, the 22-year-old has played the full 90 minutes in four of his last five Championship outings.

Neither player has been ruled out of this weekend's action for certain, but the fans are worried.

Villa will look to extend their impressive winning league run to eight matches if they get a desired result against Fulham on Saturday.

The positive form has led the Midlands outfit to second in the table, but they only have a single-point cushion.
