A number of clubs have made an offer for Aston Villa forward Andreas Weimann, his agent has confirmed.
The 21-year-old has impressed for the Villans despite their struggles in the league this season, bagging 12 goals in all competitions.
The Austria international will enter the final year of his contract at Villa Park next campaign and the Midlands club are understandably desperate to tie him down to a new deal.
Villa’s battle against the drop has complicated negotiations, with Weimann previously confirming he wanted to wait and see what division the club would be in before discussing a new deal.
His agent, Rob Groener, has confirmed he intends to discuss a new contract with Villa now their Premier League status is secured – but warned them the player has a number of options available.
“Andi will stay in the Premier League but at which club I don’t know,” he told The Sun. “There are offers but we’ll first meet Villa.”
