Aston Villa bad boy ordered to train with youth team

New Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has ordered Jack Grealish to train with the club’s Under-21 team following reports of his off-field antics, report the Daily Mail.

Garde is understood to have reacted angrily to footage of the youngster drinking on a night out on Saturday, as well as a hotel party on Sunday.

Earlier this year, the 20-year old was snapped reportedly lying unconscious on a Tenerife street after a heavy drinking session.

The Villa Park club are not expected to fine the player, but take a stern stance against any future behaviour of a similar ilk.

Reports suggest the club had previously entertained the idea of issuing the youngster with a mentor in order to guide him through his emergence in the national spotlight.

Under Tim Sherwood this season, Grealish netted a stunning first Premier League goal against Leicester, but has since struggled to come to the fore.

The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international recently pledged his allegiance to England, though is not expected to be selected by Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson this season.
