Aston Villa are facing a mini injury crisis ahead of Tuesday's Championship game against Preston.

The Birmingham Mail reports that Jack Grealish, Andre Green and Albert Adomah are all doubts for the encounter.

At the weekend, the Villans were without Grealish and Adomah due to calf and hamstring injuries respectively.

The team suffered their first defeat since December as Fulham earned a 2-0 victory at Craven Cottage.

As a result, the Midlands outfit dropped out of the automatic promotion places and into third, leaving them two points adrift of the top two.

Andre Green also missed the fixture due to a hamstring injury and it is unknown whether he will be fit enough to feature against Preston.

Another doubt for the fixture is Elmohamady, who was forced off the field at half-time after appearing to hurt himself in a challenge with Matt Targett.

Prior to the weekend result, Villa had won seven league games on the bounce.
