Loads of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to what is certainly the game of the season so far, and they’re not too happy with summer signing Orjan Nyland.

Villa missed the chance to put real pressure on the top six on Wednesday night, as Dean Smith’s side played out a thrilling 5-5 draw at Villa Park.

Smith’s Brentford sides were known for playing fast-paced, open and expansive football, but this probably wasn’t quite what he had in mind.

The visitors raced out to a 2-0 lead in just six minutes thanks to goals from Lewis Grabban and Joao Carvalho, but a quick brace from Tammy Abraham levelled the scores.

Matthew Cash then put Forest in front again, only for Abraham to complete his hat-trick before half-time.

Goals from Joe Lolley, Abraham and Anwar El Ghazi then left the Villans with a 5-4 lead in the dying moments, but Grabban squeezed the ball past Nyland at the near post to level the scores.

Forest scored with all five of their shots on target, and Villa fans are fuming at Nyland, who should have done a lot better on pretty much every single goal.

The 28-year-old signed for Steve Bruce in the summer, and judging from the Twitter reactions below he may not be around by next summer…
