Aston Villa fans delighted as Adomah returns to fitness

Albert Adomah’s injury absence has been heavily felt by the Aston Villa faithful.

The winger has not played since February 11 due to a hamstring problem, and as he has been the team’s main source of goals, the results have been inconsistent.

In the Championship, the Villans have lost one, drawn one and won one in Adomah’s absence, but the team have also been without Jack Grealish.

Before getting struck down with injury, Adomah had scored two goals and created one assist in his last two outings.

In total this season, the 30-year-old, who joined the Midlands outfit from Middlesbrough in 2016, has scored 14 times.

Despite the dip in form, Villa remain in a strong position in terms of their battle for Premier League promotion.

Steve Bruce’s side sit third in the standings, four points adrift of the top two and have a nine-point cushion in the playoff places.

This Saturday, Villa will take on Queens Park Rangers on home soil, and Adomah has been passed fit for the squad.
