Aston Villa fans on Twitter are unsure about Green following Yeovil performance

Aston Villa scraped into the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening with a 1-0 win away at League Two side Yeovil Town, and after the game fans on Twitter were questioning whether Andre Green had done enough to justify a continued run in the side.

A pacy left-winger, Green came through the academy system at Villa, making his debut for the club in the Premier League as he came off the bench in a 2-0 loss to Spurs in March 2016.

He spent much of last season out with a hamstring injury and was limited to just five Championship appearances, scoring one goal, as Villa made the playoff final.

The 20-year-old has represented England at every youth level up until the U20s so is clearly highly regarded, but Villa fans on Twitter were urging him to buck his ideas up and fulfil his potential after a lacklustre performance against Yeovil.
