Aston Villa announced on Monday afternoon that they had re-signed Axel Tuanzebe on loan from Manchester United for the 2018-19 campaign.
Tuanzebe has been involved for United during pre-season, and was a second-half substitute in their 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Sunday night.
The 6ft 1in centre-back has again been deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, however, and will spend this season on loan at Villa in the Championship.
Tuanzebe joined Villa on loan for the second half of last season, but only played five times for the club due to injury problems.

The 20-year-old is back to full fitness, however, and will now be looking to get a full season of Championship football under his belt before returning to United next summer.
The Villa fans have been reacting to the news on social media, and it would be fair to say that they are pleased with the latest addition.
Some of the club’s supporters were against the move taking place earlier this summer, but the situation appears to have changed.
