Aston Villa host West Ham United on Monday night as game week five of this current Premier League campaign draws to a close.

The two sides have gone through differing seasons so far with Villa losing three of their opening four matches while Manuel Pellegrini's side are unbeaten since losing to reigning champions Manchester City on the opening day.

Find out which 33-year-old could help keep Aston Villa in the Premier League this season in the video below...

The game marks a return to Villa Park for Robert Snodgrass, who plays for the Hammers - he joined the west Midlands club on loan for the 2017/18 season and clearly became a bit of a fan-favourite.

In 43 Championship appearances, he scored seven goals while laying on 14 assists as Villa narrowly missed out on promotion.

Snodgrass has featured in three Premier League matches for the east London side this season and has spoken ahead of the game, leaving several fans at the club feeling a bit emotional.

One supporter said there was no player they loved more while another added that he missed the midfielder the most out of all their recent loans.

A further member of the B6 faithful joked that the entire fanbase was now crying ahead of the game.

Here's the best of the reaction:
