Aston Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship on Tuesday night as they put two unanswered goals past Rotherham United at Villa Park.

A run of five league games without a win had seen Villa drop down the table, but they put an important three points on the board against Rotherham.

Villa have actually jumped into the top six courtesy of the home success, and there is no question that they have one of the most talented squads in the Championship.

The Villa supporters are still not happy, however, and many have once again called for head coach Steve Bruce to be sacked.

It does seem unlikely that Bruce will be sacked at this stage of the season, especially if Villa continue to improve in the coming weeks, which should be the case.

However, the majority of Villa fans are still not convinced that the former Manchester United centre-back is the man to secure a return to the Premier League.
