According to The Sun, Aston Villa are interested in signing Bristol City full-back Joe Bryan at the end of the season.
That said, it is understood that Villa would only be able to afford Bryan, who is valued at £4.5m by transfermarkt.co.uk, if the club earned promotion to the Premier League this season.
Bryan is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in the Championship, with the 24-year-old scoring five times and registering two assists in 40 appearances for Bristol City during the 2017-18 campaign.
The defender also starred in the EFL Cup against Manchester United earlier this season, where he found the back of the net with a superb solo effort.
It is not a surprise that the Villa supporters, who are delighted with their team at the moment, have reacted positively to suggestions that their club could indeed sign the Englishman in this summer’s transfer window.
A selection of the Twitter reaction in relation to the transfer rumour can be seen below:

Would absolutely love him!

Not surprised the club is looking to strengthen this position. Hutton looks like he’s leaving and Taylor isn’t prem level.
