Villa have one of the best first XIs in the Championship, but have only been victorious in one of their last seven league matches, which is not exactly terrific form.

The Villa fans are extremely demanding, but it would be fair to say that many want head coach Dean Smith to be given time to make his mark, even if the club are unable to secure a return to the Premier League for next season.

Smith became Villa's head coach last October and boasts a record of seven wins, eight draws and five defeats from his 20 games in charge.
