Aston Villa are considering selling Gabriel Agbonlahor in January as boss Remi Garde sets about reviving his Premier League strugglers, as reported by The Sun.
Villa are rock bottom of the top flight having won just one of their games all season and are currently on 17 match winless streak.
Garde replaced the sacked Tim Sherwood in November and is yet to spark a revival from the squad he has inherited, but is planning to use the January transfer window to boost Villa’s chances of avoiding the drop.
And one of the first casualties of Garde’s January upheaval looks set to be club hero Agbonlahor, who has been at the club all of his professional life.
The Sun claim three clubs from the middle east are interested in offering the 29-year-old a fresh break away from Villa Park, where he has struggled to make a significant impact this season.
Al Ahli, Al Wasl and Emirates are the three clubs reportedly interested in the striker, whose Villa Park contract runs until 2018.
The Sun claim Villa have placed a £3million price tag on Agbonlahor.
