Premier League strugglers Aston Villa are eyeing up Burnley defender Michael Keane in an effort to shore up their leaky defence, according to the Daily Star.
The former Manchester United trainee has been in good form for the Clarets ever since moving to Turf Moor in 2014, despite their relegation from the top tier last season.
With Villa rock bottom of the Premier League, new manager Remi Garde is thought to be keen on adding a solid defender to his ranks as they battle to maintain their lofty status.
Despite signing former England international defenders Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott in the summer, the club have conceded 27 goals and are rooted to the bottom of the league.
The 22-year old has also been linked with Newcastle and Everton in the past, and could be one of the hottest properties outside the Premier League this winter.
He made just one appearance while with the Red Devils as he spent time on loan with the likes of Leicester, Blackburn and Derby.
