Aston Villa’s season has been a bit of a train wreck so far. After just one win from 10 games – they beat newly promoted Bournemouth on the opening day of the campaign – and some truly lifeless displays, the Tim Sherwood era was cut short last weekend. It all began with such optimism in 2014/15 with a trip to Wembley for the FA Cup Final, but the whole saga has turned sour.
Oh well, time to move on, and just a few hours ago Remy Garde was announced as the new Villa Park boss. And in true ‘Villa 2015/16 fashion’, the Midlanders spelt his name WRONG during their online efforts.
Instead of ‘Remi’, the club went ‘Remy’… oh dear! Perhaps there was some confusion behind the scenes, or maybe, just maybe, Loic Remy is on his way in January… We’re pretty sure that’s not happening though!
Garde will be watching on from the stands at White Hart Lane… it’s not too late to back out, fella!
