Aston Villa were blown away by Leicester City, as a Jamie Vardy brace, alongside goals from Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho condemned them to a 4-1 loss.
Even if the Foxes are flying this season, the resounding nature of the loss will have left a bitter taste for many involved with Villa.
That was certainly the case for Jack Grealish, who spoke honestly after the game, stating that the team were simply not good enough against the side currently occupying second place.
“I don’t think we were good enough.”

Grealish was the scorer of Villa’s goal, but that seemed to be absolutely no consolation for the captain judging by the way he spoke.
The talismanic figure looked a man who was pained by the result and showing, something that plenty of fans picked up on and left a comment about.
One fan claimed they were “not surprised he looks deflated and disappointed” due to a disparity in the performance levels of he and his teammates.
Very fair points there Jack and he looks gutted

not surprised he looks deflated and disappointed , his been class this season one of our only players who have had a good game every game his been involved in this season needs the rest of the team to pull their socks up as its simply not good enough like yesterday

He looks completely deflated. They were a good, disciplined team, let’s move on.

This has begun to bring about concerns that the 24-year-old could eventually leave Villa Park in pursuit of a higher level of football.
The club may be 17th in the table, out of the relegation because of goals scored, but Grealish has been in impressive form since returning to the Premier League.
Red Herring or Real Hero: Only hardcore Villa fans will get all of them right….
Across 16 appearances in the league and Carabao Cup, Grealish has already managed six goals and five assists.
One fan has claimed they would be “shocked” if Villa keep hold of their leader, while another “wouldn’t blame him” for leaving.
This comes after the player nearly joined Tottenham in the summer of 2018.
Jack ain’t going to hang around, him and heaton are the only consistent players we’ve got. Smith needs to change tactics/formation. Maybe play 2 strikers, or replace Wesley with someone who’s knows how to play football

be shocked if we can keep hold of him 🙁

Jack won’t be here next season and I wouldn’t blame him either
