Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish could cause problems for Sheffield United's George Baldock and Chris Basham on Saturday.

On the chalkboard

The Blades' use of a back three has been very effective for them this season, as only Leicester City and Liverpool have conceded fewer Premier League goals than they have.

This indicates that Villa may have a hard time breaking their fellow promoted side down, though they have managed to get on the scoresheet at least once in each of their last seven Premier League matches.

Jack Grealish has two goals and an assist in his last four matches, though it could be his movement that has the greatest impact in the game.

Intelligent movement

The Villa talisman has been operating from the left-wing since first being deployed there against Burnley towards the end of September.

He doesn't strictly stay on the left-flank though, with his performance against Newcastle United showing how often he fades in and out of the wide areas.

During that game, he won both of the free-kicks that led to their goals in the 2-0 win, being fouled five times in total.

This type of movement could cause similar problems for the Blades because if he was to stay out wide like a traditional winger, it would be the responsibility of Baldock to deal with him.

On the other hand, if he was to only come inside, it would mean that Basham would be the main player he comes directly up against.

However, with his movement being the way it is, the two defenders will need to communicate especially well to ensure they are not pulled too far out of position.

They will certainly have a challenge on their hands in dealing with the Villa man, when his form and playing style are considered.

In other news, FFC writers have had their say on whether Aston Villa should make a move for Pedro in January.
