When some players join a new club it takes them a while to settle into their new surroundings.
Some just can’t adjust and want to leave almost as soon as they arrive, but others take to it like a duck to water.
Luckily, Aston Villa’s summer acquisition Tyrone Mings seems to have settled in the Midlands with ease.
In fact, he’s already started doing work in the community, as he’s brought the Tyrone Mings Academy to his new city.

Last week we had the pleasure of bringing @tyronemingsacademy to Birmingham and is now located at @goalsstarcity every Wednesday. • We asked @danrolinson1 to create something special documenting what we are about and he absolutely nailed it; a pleasure to work with and some top, top quality work.
Mings has launched his coaching academy in Birmingham, seemingly settling in as well off the pitch as he is on it, where he has recorded two clean sheets and earned an England call-up.
They will now run sessions every Wednesday in the city, and setting up this venture suggests that the defender is certainly not making plans to make another career move any time soon.
Of course, it’s also always great to see a footballer doing good things for their local community, and if this post is anything to go by, Villa fans may have a new local hero around for years to come.
