Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted that Aston Villa will secure a point from this weekend’s Championship clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Villans will head into today’s encounter on the back of a 3-0 thumping over Sunderland.
Steve Bruce’s side have home comforts on their side as the match will be staged at Villa Park, but Wolves are closing in on promotion to the Premier League.
The club currently sit at the top of the table with a six-point advantage over Cardiff City, who currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot.
Villa are third in the standings, 10 points behind Wolves, but only four adrift of the Bluebirds.
Bruce’s side may be full of confidence, but they will be going head to head with a team that overcame Leeds United at Elland Road 3-0 in midweek.
Within his weekend predictions for Sky Sports, Prutton predicted a 2-2 draw and expects the contest to be easy on the eye for both sets of fans.
“Aston Villa are in great form at the moment and they will be hoping to close the gap on the league leaders with victory here and boost their own hopes of automatic promotion. I’m backing an entertaining draw.”
