Aston Villa brought an end to a five-match winless streak in all competitions following their midweek victory over Rotherham United, easing the pressure after a blip in form.

Steve Bruce’s side have struggled for consistency but the win at Villa Park on Wednesday saw the club rise to just outside of the Championship play-off positions ahead of another crucial test this weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Owls currently sit just two points behind Villa but occupy a mid-table position in the Championship, though they could leapfrog Bruce’s side in the standings if they secure a victory at Villa Park on Saturday.

One of the biggest debates recently has been whether Villa starlet Jack Grealish should continue to start given his form this season that has seen him secure just one assist and no goals in eight matches, so we asked fans if he should start on Saturday.

A whopping 71% of polled supporters stated that they still want Grealish to start against Sheffield Wednesday, with just 29% calling for the 23-year-old to be dropped as a result of his inconsistent displays so far this term.
