It was absolutely imperative that Aston Villa bounced back from their 3-1 loss against Southampton and that is exactly what they did.
Coming up against Norwich City, they were able to squeeze a 1-0 victory out of the game, thanks to Conor Hourihane’s second-half goal after coming off the bench.
What will also be pleasing to many at the club is the clean sheet that was maintained, having failed to keep one in their last five Premier League games.
He’s one of the best around.

One man who will be particularly satisfied with that is Tom Heaton, and he can also give himself credit for the role in ensuring nothing went past him.
It wasn’t always the prettiest at times, but he showed an innate desire and ability to keep the ball out of the net, as is perhaps best encapsulated by his stop to deny Onel Hernandez towards the end.
Red Herring or Real Hero: Only hardcore Villa fans will get all of them right….
In total, the 33-year-old made five saves, in what has been referred to as a “massive performance” by one fan.
He was great today ! Man of the match for me

His contribution across the wider season has also been recognised, with one fan stating “he’s in the top six for best goalkeepers in the Premier League”.
Only Mat Ryan, Martin Dubravka and Bernd Leno have made more saves than the England international’s 65 so far this campaign.
One fan has even claimed that if Villa do stay up, Heaton will be the main reason alongside the talismanic Jack Grealish.
If we do stay up he is the biggest reason next to grealish of course, what a brilliant signing!
