Aston Villa fans are absolutely delighted for Keinan Davis after the youngster scored the winner for England’s U20s against Poland.

Keinan Davis has had a fantastic season at Villa, breaking through into the first team and grabbing his first professional goals.

The youngster has now continued that success at an international level, scoring his first international goal for England’s U20 side in a 1-0 win in Poland on Thursday evening.

The 20 year-old striker replaced Villa teammate Rushian Hepburn-Murphy as a substitute before finding the winning goal.

Another Villa player, Easah Suliman, captained England’s youngsters, so fans should feel pretty excited about their young core.

The next step for Davis is to add more goals at the club level, having found the net just twice in the league this season. That said, 11 of his 28 Championship appearances have been as a substitute, and he is still ironing out the creases in his game.

Villa fans will hope the winning goal in Poland will give the youngster a confidence boost, as they look to push for promotion back to the Premier League.
