In Tyrone Mings, it appears Aston Villa have a new fan favourite. The centre-back signed on loan from Bournemouth in January and has been tremendous at the heart of the defence since arriving.
As a result, it hasn’t taken the 26-year-old long to earn his place in the hearts of the Villa Park faithful.
Therefore, a picture of Mings with ex-Villa man Martin Laursen was always going to go down a treat with supporters.

Fans were quick to call Mings a legend too, whilst two others urged him to sign a permanent deal in the summer. Another drew comparisons between the two men in the image.
If that wasn’t enough, one individual called him the best centre-half in Villa history.
Mings has featured 10 times for Dean Smith’s side after arriving in the last transfer window. He has made an impressive 4.8 clearances per game whilst winning 2.3 aerial duels on average per match too.
Here’s the best of the reaction from Villa supporters.

Tyrone, please sign a permanent deal in the summer. I’m certain you will become as big a legend for our great club as Martin Laursen – you are already well on the way in truth. Come on Tyrone, you know it makes sense! #AVFC
