World class: Aston Villa fans pay tribute to John McGinn performance

Aston Villa made it six straight Championship wins with a 3-1 success away to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.

And the Villa fans absolutely loved what they saw from John McGinn once again.

The midfielder levelled the scores in the 22nd minute before helping his side score twice more in the latter stages to pick up a huge three points.

According to WhoScored, as well as his goal, the 5 foot 10 midfielder had a pass success rate of 79%, whilst he had one dribble and made one tackle.

The 14-time Scotland international has now contributed six goals and 10 assists in 35 Championship appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.

He has turned out to be a fine signing for Villa, who now look well-placed to secure a playoff position come the end of the season.

The club’s supporters are running out of superlatives for McGinn, but many took to social media on Saturday to hail his performance against Wednesday.
