Bournemouth fans have taken to Twitter to praise their manager after Eddie Howe was named as the Premier League 'Manager of the Month' for October.

The Cherries boss guided his side to three wins and a draw as Bournemouth finished the month in sixth place, where they now sit just four points off the Champions League places.

Howe began the month with a narrow victory over Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium, where a late Junior Stanislas penalty snatched the points. Following that match, one of the performances of the season from any team in the league was seen when the South Coast side dismantled in-form Watford 4-0 away from home.

A 0-0 draw against Southampton ensued, before another comprehensive victory was seen, this time against lowly Fulham at Craven Cottage as Callum Wilson shone in a 3-0 win.

Howe beat Chris Hughton, Pep Guardiola and Maurizio Sarri to pick up the award for the third time.
