Bournemouth are hoping to add hotshot Wolves forward Benik Afobe to their ranks this January, with Sky Sports claiming that the Cherries have offered £10 million for the striker.
The newly promoted side have been holding their own in the top flight after winning the Championship last season, but still have work to do to avoid relegation.
Eddie Howe’s side have had to play most of the campaign without their main striker Callum Wilson, with it up to Josh King and Glenn Murray to get the goals for the side.
However, it is believed that the Vitality Stadium outfit side want to add more options in attack, with Afobe adjudged as an ideal new face.
Afobe came through the Arsenal youth ranks but despite being a prodigious talent was allowed to leave the North London side as surplus to requirements.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals in the second tier this season and continues to evolve at Molineux, with potential to now play in the Premier League.
