Bournemouth are closing in on a club record £16.2m deal for Roma star Juan Iturbe, according to the Daily Express.
The 22-year old Paraguay midfielder only moved to the Italian capital in 2014 for a whopping €22m though has failed to land a regular starting berth.
He had been close to signing for Watford, though the deal eventually broke down at the last minute due to his concerns over playing time.
However, fellow promoted side Bournemouth are apparently ready to step in and smash their club transfer record to bring in the diminutive attacker.
The Cherries are thought to be ready to increase their initial wage offer in order to secure his signing when the transfer window opens next month.
Despite having a relatively small budget compared to the some of the other teams in the Premier League, the South Coast side look to spend the most in their history in order to maintain their top tier status.
