According to the Plymouth Herald, Tottenham are looking to sign Blackburn Rovers' Bradley Dack, who has already scored nine goals this season from an attacking midfield position. However, that may prove to be a step too far, so Bournemouth should swoop in and look to sign the Englishman.

More chance of frequent game time with the Cherries

The former Gillingham star would find game time hard to come by at Tottenham, with Mauricio Pochettino already attempting to juggle the talents of Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Heung-min Son, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela, who all play a similar role to Dack.

Instead of making the jump from Championship to Champions League straight away, the 24-year-old should perhaps look to a club outside the Premier League top six as a stepping-stone for a bigger move in the future.

Under Eddie Howe, Dack would undoubtedly be given sufficient game time as well as invaluable coaching that will no doubt improve him as a player.

What sort of player is he?

In League One last season, the 5ft 8in maestro recorded 18 goals and eight assists in 37 games as Blackburn won promotion, and has since continued that fine form in the Championship with seven goals and two assists in 13 games.

Dack is a diminutive but stocky, forward-thinking player who is always looking to score a goal or set up a teammate. His stocky appearance is misleading as he is in fact a very mobile player, although his pace is not a necessary skill as his footballing brain serves him well most of the time.

With Rovers currently in eighth place, just five points off the top of the table, a promotion charge looks well and truly on. However, if they tail off somewhat over the course of the season, the 24-year-old may want to taste Premier League football without earning it through promotion; one thing's for certain, he most certainly isn't short of suitors.
