Burnley supporters have taken to Twitter to respond to the news that they’ve signed Aaron Lennon from Everton.

The 30-year-old has signed with the Clarets following a two-and-a-half-year spell at Goodison Park. The former Tottenham Hotspur winger has signed for an undisclosed fee, and he’s been assigned the number 25 during his time at Turf Moor.

The Englishman is considered a cult hero at Spurs where he amassed 364 appearances over a period of nine-and-a-half seasons with the North London team. During that time he scored a reasonably decent total of 30 goals.

During his time with the Toffees, the winger attained 77 first-team appearances, scoring nine goals. Issues with his mental health affected Lennon during his second season at Goodison Park, and he failed to score in 19 games for Sam Allardyce’s team this season.
