It has been a long and wonderful career for Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard burst onto the scene as a fresh-faced teenager for Arsenal whilst the Gunners were still playing at Highbury, and has since gone to play for his boyhood club Barcelona and then Chelsea.
Now at AS Monaco in France, Fabregas took to Instagram to post a picture as a throwback to all the clubs he has played for in his time in professional football, prompting tons of responses from fans asked to name their favourite memories of the Spaniard.
The Spain international has been one of the Premier League’s finest foreign imports, and has won virtually every title imaginable with both club and country.
A World Cup and two-time European Championship winner with La Furia Roja, Fabregas is amongst illustrious company with over 100 international caps for Spain, and will forever be remembered for providing the assist for Andres Iniesta’s winner against the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup final.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed similarly incredible success with all the clubs he has been a part of, and is one of the leading assist-makers in the Premier League era.
In 350 total appearances in English football’s top-flight, Fabregas scored 50 times and created an unbelievable 111 goals. It is perhaps no surprise then that he is still fondly remembered by both Arsenal and Chelsea fans, although perhaps less so amongst certain sections of the Gunners’ fan base.
