Well, it appears that Hull City are in for a long afternoon against the Premier League table-topper’s Chelsea.
Having barely dusted themselves down following Eden Hazard’s opener after less than 90 seconds, the Tigers were already picking the ball out of the net again with Diego Costa doubling Chelsea’s lead inside the opening 10 minutes.
The former Atletico Madrid striker bagged his 19th goal of the season from 23 Premier League games, a fine record for a debut season.
The Spanish international’s strike also puts him back level with Tottenham Hotspur’s hat-trick hero Harry Kane in the race for the honour of being the top scorer in England’s top flight.
A win today will see Mourinho’s side re-open that six point gap over Manchester City – who are one point ahead of Arsenal – and the Blues will still have a game in hand.
And, if Costa continues his remarkable season, you’d bank on Chelsea seeing out the job.
*UPDATE I’m an idiot and Hull are incredible! Long afternoon for Chelsea more like!*
