The Uruguayan striker has become one of the most sought after talents in European football in recent times, thanks to a series of impressive displays with Napoli.
His return of 27 goals in 33 appearances this term has seen speculation that he could be heading away from the Naples-based side increase in recent times, with a number of clubs willing to spend big for his signature.
The club have confessed that a deal could be done for the right price, and Cavani says that he is not sure where he will be playing next season:
“Football is a business. In Napoli I am fine as I have the love of the fans, but in football you never know where you play in the future.” He is quoted by Sky Sports via El Observador.
“Much also depends on the club and the decisions of the president.”
Cavani has been heavily linked with Manchester City of late, with the Sky Blues rumoured to see him as the ideal marquee signing for their summer transfer plans.
But, Chelsea are also in the race, and could turn to the South American if they unsuccessful in their pursuit of Radamel Falcao.
