Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in signing the latest Argentine wonderkid, being labelled the ‘new Lionel Messi’ despite the fact he is just EIGHT-years-old, reports the Daily Express.
Claudio Gabriel Nancufil – nicknamed ‘Snow Messi’ – has started attracting interest from a host of top European clubs, despite the fact he is only eight.
And even though the youngster is another five years away from hitting his teens, it appears Manchester United and Chelsea are leading the chase for his signature, and hope to lure him away from Argentina.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Athletico Madrid also have their eye on the junior star.
The youngster has come to everyone’s attention after showing off some incredible skills on video.
He has exceptional close control and dribbling skills, as well as being left footed and very small for his age – features that have led to the comparison with Messi.
He has also come to the attention of the BBC, who plan to feature the youngster in a forthcoming documentary about Messi and Diego Maradona. They hope to tie up the deal by Christmas.
Nancufil plays for a youth club in Bariloche Argentina, and his family have already hired an agency to secure his first big transfer.
