The Special One is angry that his side must travel to the Emirates just 48 hours after a pulsating Premier League clash with Manchester City, and reckons the supporters have been robbed of a great spectacle between two in-form sides.
Chelsea were the final team to play over the Premier League weekend, beating Manchester City in yesterday’s afternoon kick off thanks to a late winner from Fernando Torres.
Meanwhile Arsenal picked up three points to keep them top of the table with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Sehurst Park in the early Saturday game.
“We are going to give the game that the people that put the game on Tuesday want,” Mourinho said.
“If they want a big game, we cannot give the big game.
“If they want the players that were playing (on Sunday), we cannot give them that.
“If they want Arsenal to win a trophy, that’s a help, because if they want a big game between two big teams in London, they should put the game on Wednesday and not on Tuesday.”
